Trying to find life on other planets is extremely hard. We just don't have the tools yet to see oceans on worlds that orbits stars other than our Sun. But it seems like we took a baby step today - we might have found a planet that is "similar" to Earth and (get this) potentially temperate enough to have water.
Read about it here.
Again, this doesn't mean we've found aliens. Not even close. There's a lot we don't know yet about 581 c. But this is still very exciting. As long as humanity progresses forward as whole on science, I think we'll find other life forms out there. It may take hundreds, even thousands of years. But I think we could do it.
