I'm Getting Old

Last night our new neighbors had a party. The wife came over before and let us know about it - she said if it gets too loud we should let them I know. I didn't think much of it, but it ended up sounding like a college party with a bunch of drunken yelling. It didn't keep me up as it wasn't really loud but I found it funny that I was a bit annoyed by it. I am an old guy.

By the way, the reason I was up later than usual was due to the fact that Liz and I were watching "Million Dollar Baby." Eastwood's last picture, "Mystic River," didn't do it for me. It was good, but in my mind it wasn't Oscar-worthy. "Million Dollar Baby" deserves the Oscars it got. I really liked it. The relationships between the characters was solid and the performances were outstanding. Yes, it's a really sad movie (I don't want to give the plot away but it goes in a direction that's probably not expected) but it's worth it.
