I just talked to a friend of mine from college. They have three kids, but unfortunately they lost their latest baby as she had Potter's syndrome, which means the baby didn't have kidneys. The pregnancy originally was twins, but one died early, and they were watching the other one closely. They found out at 16 weeks what was going on, and they decided to carry the baby full-term to at least see her. I don't know if I could've done that myself, but either way it's a very sad thing what they've gone through, and my heart goes out to them.
