"Letter to a Christian Nation"
I finished reading this book last night. It's a really short book and overall it probably took me no longer than an hour's worth of reading time to get through it all. I read "The End of Faith" a while ago and I really liked it, and I have similar feeling about this book. Harris wastes no time in getting right to the point, which is this: religion is vicious, cruel, and unnecessary, and we're better off as a society to start working within rational frameworks. Even with the small amount of real estate he has in his book, he gives numerous examples to back up his points.
I'd recommend this book to anyone. I'd strongly recommend it to anyone of faith as well, even those who are not Christians as the book is general enough to discuss the issues of faith across different religions. But I doubt that the ones who should read it ever will.
