I Couldn't Avoid it Any Longer: SOA
I tried to fight the latest TLA. I wanted to have nothing to do with it, simply because it is an industry buzzword. But, as fate would have it, my next project is working with a client to help them with SOA and how they should use it. It's actually an interesting gig in the sense that the client is trying to prevent the developers from making everything a "service" just because the SOA acronym is so prevalent these days. They want to ensure their developers know when to "use" SOA and when to avoid it (and, when they develop services, how to do it "right"). I like that.
