The Book Shippeth, and I Will Talketh
It's official - Applied .NET Attributes has shipped! I haven't received my copies just yet, but it's coming real-soon-now. I'm not sure what I want to write about next. I have one idea I'm kicking around, but I'm waiting to find out what Apress thinks about it. The "Exploring .NET" book...well, I'm not sure if that will ever see the light of day. I will try my damndest to take the material and make it available to the public if the book never gets printed. I spent so much time in R&D mode for that book, and I want people to consume what I generated.
I'm also trying to get back on the speaking horse, so to speak. I'm going to do a talk on Feb. 10th, 2004 at Wisconsin's .NET User's Group. The presentation will have something to do with .NET security and code access security - I don't have all the details worked out just yet but I've got a general idea what I'm going to do - it should be fun.
Finally, kudos/thanks goes to Sam Gentile for his kind words about my CIL book - "This book just rocks!". I'm pretty sure the Percoset altered his perceptions a bit, though ;).
