"The Labyrinth Key"
I finished this book during my West Coast trip. It's a sci-fi book dealing with secret societies and government agencies trying to create quantum computers. The government wants them for the ultimate in cryptography, but the societies want them to unlock the secrets of existence itself.
The book dives into a lot of different theories and ideas dealing with religion, science, philosophy, etc. Sometimes it works quite well, and sometimes I felt like it got out of control and hindered the storyline. Frankly, I had a hard time believing where the story ended up going. Whenever someone dives into "secret societies" my skeptical level kicks up a notch or two. And what happened to the main characters of the book is just bizarre.
I'd suggest reading this information on the book for more insight into the storyline.
