I made it into Redmond a couple of hours ago. Checked into the hotel and went to some nearby Mexican restaurant for dinner. I thought the lab was from the 13th through the 16th (as this post suggests) but it’s only through the 15th. Since I already booked my flight to leave Friday morning, that leaves me out here with one free day. Sure, I could screw around and do nothing … but I’m planning on using that day to catch up on some techie studying, posting some entries that have been long over-due, and … well, maybe make it to that big needle tower thingee to do a bit of sightseeing.
I really don’t know what to expect at this event. It could suck, it could be good - I just hope that I come out with a lot more knowledge about some .NET internals that I didn’t know before. Since I think some of the material is NDA I don’t know what I can report, but I’ll try to give general impressions every day.
And yes, I already miss Liz and Hayden.
