I finished this book last night. This picks up right where “Paradox” left off. Tom ends up meeting a Seer, seeing his true love die (although he finds out she may not be dead due to a quantum entanglement issue) and comes to learn of the Blight: a creature that threatens the existence of humanity on Nulaperiron. My feelings for this book are pretty much the same for the first one. I feel like Meaney has a great vision in mind and his writing is very descriptive, but sometimes it’s hard to figure out just what the hell is going on. But the things I like in this far outweigh what I didn’t like about it, and I’ll be reading “Resolution” as soon as I finish “The Black Rood”.
