David Fogel is one of my favorite authors, and I’ve only read one of his books through, “Blondie24” (although I’m about to spend my 3rd time trying to get through “How to Solve It: Modern Heuristics”). On a whim I decided to check out the company he’s associated with, Natural Selection, Inc. (I love their tag line: “Evolving Innovative Solutions”). They just announced that they’ve had some serious success evolving a chess program called (appropriately enough) Blondie25. I hope Fogel does a book on Blondie25 - I’d eat that up in a heartbeat.
