Don’t watch this (or keep reading) if you haven’t finished the game - spoilers abound! It shows the ending with Master Chief alive and going into statis, which is a fitting ending as you start Halo coming out of statis. But if you play the game on Legendary, you get a brief scene after the ending that shows the trilogy of games is done … but something else is probably going to start up …
This ending doesn’t surprise me one bit. There’s no way Microsoft is going to let Halo/Master Chief just fade away - it’s just too much of a cash cow. And there’s still 6 Halos floating around in the galaxy. Personally, I’m kind of interested to see where things go from here.
