So What’s Next?
Now that my web site is updated … what’s next? Well, here’s a random list of what’s gotta get done in the near future:
- I have to cut the grass today, and change the oil in the mower. The joy of warmer weather - I get to cut the grass every week.
- I need to get ready to build a deck. That means figuring out a weekend when I can coerce friends to help, getting the materials, etc. Fortunately I found out yesterday that a neighbor builds decks on the side, and while I’m not going to have him do it, I hope I can have him come over and give me a tour of what it takes to build a deck.
- I have to make reservations for a summer trip we’re making to Oregon this summer. There’s a family reunion out there so I need to get the flight, car rental, and hotel done. It’ll be a fair amount of money, but I don’t get to see my sister and her family (who live in Oregon) that often so I’m really looking forward to it.
Continue to get songs done for Sidetracked Project. I have Mike’s recorder, but I haven’t been able to make any guide tracks. Now I’ll have time to get what I need to do … done, so we can start recording soon.
- I have a bunch of code projects that I want to get updated on my site. My Quixo project is the first one on the list - there’s a couple of internal changes that I want to make, but there’s another reason I want to get the upgrades done … somebody wants to build a fancy UI above it. Details will be coming whenever I get done and then this person decides to build the UI … so don’t hold your breath.
Oh, and of course, above all, enjoy being with Liz and Hayden.
