Last night I ordered some holiday presents from Stonewall Kitchen. This was the first time I used their site, and I have to say I was very impressed. It was organized, I personally liked the look and feel, I could easily send different products to different addresses, and, best of all, I didn’t need to make an account.
Read that last part again.
How many times have I tried to purchase something from a web site that requires me to create a ** account just so I can order their products? Now, Stonewall gives you the option to create an account, but you don’t have to, and that’s a very, very nice feature in my book. I’m so sick of trying to keep account after account after account. I realize that sometimes you need to create an account with a web site, but in this case there’s no need to force it. I hope other retailers follow this lead and let people do what they want to do quickly: order their products.
